Manufacturing of carbon black mainly involve various unit operations like thermal cracking, heating, cooling and drying. Hot gases generated during cracking process is cooled in inline boilers, further Off gases that are generated is utilized as fuel in the steam boiler to generate high pressure steam and utilized for power generation.
Our design of Carbon Black Gas Boilers is suitable for turn-down ratio of 25% to 110% of MCR without support fuel, instead of 40% to 100% as in conventional design. Hence, better flexibility and fuel savings.
Tail Gas Boilers are suitable for steam temperature control range of 30% to 110% of MCR, instead of 50% to 100% as in conventional design. Hence, better flexibility.
Tail Gas boilers supplied by TSPL don't require support fuel till Off gas flow comes below 25% of MCR instead of 40% of MCR, or LHV fall below 450 Kcal/Nm³, as in conventional design. Hence, fuel saving.
In our design, the combustion is controlled by sensing the fuel gas temperature (more reliable) compared to Flame Scanner. This arrangement ensures smooth and steady operation and avoids tripping of the system.
